Meghan Markle Responds to Criticism Over Alleged Attacks on Kate Middleton in Scobie's Book

Meghan Markle is said to be reacting to the backlash concerning perceived "attacks" on Kate Middleton in Omid Scobie's book, which has been described as a "gratuitous attack" by some. Royal author Tom Bower claims that Meghan feels "bruised" by the criticism and is eager to address the impressions created by Scobie's book, titled "Endgame."

According to Bower, Meghan and Prince Harry are looking to start anew in the coming year and want to leave the negativity behind. Speaking to Closer, he stated, "As she feels more and more bruised as the year goes on, Meghan is going to want to have her say. Whereas Scobie was a disaster, she’s going to want to correct the impressions [that she collaborated on the book]. Meghan and Harry’s desperation will only get worse in the new year."

Scobie's book alleged mistreatment of Kate Middleton by the royals, portraying her as being treated like a child and likening her to a "Stepford-like royal." In response to these claims, Meghan may be considering penning her own memoir to provide her perspective and clarify any misconceptions.

While Omid Scobie denies being personally close to Meghan, he acknowledges having "mutual friends" who assist with information for his books. Bower, however, expresses certainty that Meghan provided Scobie with the names of the "royal racists."

As the Sussexes aim for a fresh start in 2024, another royal expert, Phil Dampier, suggests that redemption may be challenging for them. Dampier believes Meghan might explore launching a lifestyle business similar to Gwyneth Paltrow as she seeks a new chapter in her public image.
