Amidst the fallout from the emerging race controversy, Meghan Markle faces accusations of providing information to royal author Omid Scobie for his revealing memoir, "Endgame."
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams expressed the perspective that the release of Scobie's book has deeply impacted the couple's ties with the monarchy, highlighting what he perceives as their irresponsible attitude.
"Endgame clearly illustrates how utterly irresponsible the Sussexes are," Fitzwilliams remarked. He went on to assert that, in his view, the Sussexes are "totally untrustworthy" and suggested that it might be in their best interest to distance themselves, even residing in Montecito.
Despite the Duke and Duchess of Sussex distancing themselves from Scobie's explosive royal exposé, Fitzwilliams maintained that this separation has not altered the current state of their ties with the royal family, characterizing it as "at rock bottom."
Meghan Markle's admission that her former press secretary, Jason Knauf, provided information to royal authors and her subsequent apology in court for failing to remember authorizing a senior aide to brief Scobie and co-author Carolyn Durand during the creation of "Finding Freedom" further underscores the perceived lack of transparency and responsibility in her actions, contributing to strained relations with the royal family.
