Griffiths suggested that Meghan Markle might have anticipated the 'royal racists' scandal to cast a pall over Kate's birthday. Kate, along with King Charles, was named in the Dutch version of Omid Scobie's book, "Endgame," released in November, raising concerns over Meghan and Harry’s son Archie's skin color before his birth.
Despite the controversy, birthday celebrations for Kate remained relatively unmarred. Griffiths noted, "No one’s bringing up the royal racist thing on her birthday today. I mean, I can imagine Meghan might have expected that to come up. But it doesn’t, because people sort of admire Kate and think she is fabulous."
In an unexpected twist, the anticipated controversy failed to materialize, allowing Princess Kate to celebrate her birthday without the overshadowing impact of the 'royal racist' scandal.
