Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has received a flood of 'get well soon' messages from concerned fans after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of skin cancer, just months following her breast surgery.

The news has left royal author Angela Levin, along with numerous fans, expressing shock over the health challenges faced by the Duchess of York. Angela Levin took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday to convey her best wishes to Fergie, saying, "What a shock to hear that Fergie, Duchess of York, has been diagnosed with malignant melanoma only six months after having a mastectomy. Let's hope she gets well again soon."

The spokesperson for Sarah Ferguson shared, "Following her diagnosis with an early form of breast cancer this summer, Sarah, Duchess of York, has now been diagnosed with malignant melanoma."

Detailing the circumstances, the spokesperson added, "Her dermatologist recommended the removal and analysis of several moles at the same time as the duchess was undergoing reconstructive surgery following her mastectomy, and one of these has been identified as cancerous."
