Prince Andrew is reportedly seeking legal advice in response to new court
documents that have surfaced, causing significant distress for the royal.
An insider has revealed, "Andrew seems to be bruised and in great pain following the release of new court documents." The royal, who previously faced consequences such as being stripped of military patronages and royal titles, is now consulting top lawyers as he finds himself entangled in the ongoing scandal.
In the recently unsealed documents, Prince Andrew is accused of groping a
woman at Jeffrey Epstein's house in New York and s*xually assaulting Virginia
Giuffre when she was 17 on three separate occasions. While most of the
allegations are not new, there are claims that at least one accusation is
fresh.
Despite public outcry and calls for a new investigation, British police have
stated that no new inquiry has been launched. The anti-monarchy group Republic
reported Andrew to detectives, arguing that the authorities had not adequately
examined the allegations, and the case should be reopened. However, the
Metropolitan Police asserted that they had no plans to open a case but would
assess new and relevant information if brought to their attention.
Prince Andrew, aged 63, has consistently denied accusations of s*xual wrongdoing. In February 2022, he settled a US lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre, who had accused him of s*xually abusing her when she was a teenager. The unfolding legal developments add further complexity to the longstanding controversy surrounding Prince Andrew and his connections to Jeffrey Epstein.
