Prince Harry Advised Against Writing Sequel to 'Spare' Memoir

Despite Prince Harry's willingness to include additional details in a sequel to his memoir "Spare," concerns have been raised, urging caution. The first edition of "Spare" is noted for omitting significant portions of Prince Harry's more recent life.

Royal author Robert Hardman, as reported by MailOnline, highlighted the Palace's unease, stating, "The most concerning thing about the book for the Palace was the concealment of significant portions of more recent occurrences."

Notably, events such as Harry and Meghan's wedding, their married life, and their departure from the royal world constituted a relatively small part – less than a fifth – of Prince Harry’s memoir. This has sparked speculation about the possibility of a sequel or a memoir by Meghan in the future.

However, authority Richard Fitzwilliams has advised Prince Harry against penning another memoir in the immediate future. Fitzwilliams expressed concerns over the impact of Harry's initial memoir, stating, "The publication of Harry’s memoir 'Spare' began a dreadful year for the Sussexes, which saw them lose Spotify and their popularity plummet in the ratings in the US."

He emphasized that Harry's revelations in "Spare" were often considered unwise and subject to mockery. Fitzwilliams further pointed out that Harry had disclosed cutting around 400 sensitive pages from the book, potentially laying the groundwork for another publication. However, he cautioned that pursuing this avenue could send a message to the world that the only means for the Sussexes to sustain themselves was by continuing to criticize the Royal Family.
