Royal expert Phil Dampier urged the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to reconsider and allow their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to see their grandparents, emphasizing the importance of mending relationships.
Dampier expressed concern for Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, stating that regardless of past issues, he deserves the opportunity to see his grandchildren. The expert also pointed out that Prince Harry has never met Thomas Markle, and the treatment has been deemed "cruel and sadistic."
Additionally, Dampier highlighted that King Charles is also being deprived of seeing Archie and Lilibet, deeming it unfair to deny grandparents the chance to spend time with their grandchildren.
The ongoing rift between Meghan and her father dates back to her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018, leading to strained relations. The Sussexes' decision to step back from royal duties in 2020 further fueled tensions with the royal family.
This criticism follows reports of Prince Harry and Meghan planning a redemption strategy for 2024, with the couple reportedly being in high demand but selectively turning down offers.
