Reports suggest that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are grappling with a serious financial crisis and are turning to King Charles for potential assistance after facing rejection in Hollywood.
In a bid to salvage their situation, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, parents to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are reportedly making concerted efforts to mend fences with the royal family, realizing that the resources sustaining their luxury lifestyle in the US are dwindling.
Royal commentator Phil Dampier, speaking on GB News, highlighted the couple's predicament, stating, "When you start to become figures of ridicule, you are in trouble. When they first went out there, they were popular."
Dampier went on to explain, "When you've fallen out with the woke luvvies, and they're starting to take the mickey out of you, you know that your star has fallen."
Predicting a further decline in Harry and Meghan's popularity in 2024, Dampier cited Omid Scobie's Endgame as a contributing factor. He expressed, "Everyone's just regarding them as figures of fun. And I think this year is going to be a real turning point for them. I think unless they pull something out of the bag, they are in for a bit of a nosedive."
These challenges were underscored as comedian Jo Koy took a humorous jab at the couple's lucrative deal with Netflix during the Golden Globes, stating, "Harry and Meghan Markle got paid millions for doing absolutely nothing. And that's just by Netflix."
