A royal expert has criticized the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, accusing them of "grovelling for attention" after facing rejection from both the royal family and Hollywood.
Following the release of the alleged pal Omid Scobie's explosive book "Endgame," it appears that King Charles and the royal family have severed ties with the Sussexes.
During the Golden Globes, hosts took jabs at Harry and Meghan, with comedian Jo Koy mocking them along with the "rich, white, and dysfunctional" royal family during his opening monologue.
Reacting to the recent snubs, royal biographer Tom Bower expressed, "What is remarkable is how they end up ridiculed in Hollywood, how they're ignored in New York, how, in fact, they have to regrovel for attention."
"They've set themselves up to live like royals, but their income is pretty limited," Bower continued, stating that Meghan's high-maintenance lifestyle clashes with their financial reality. "Meghan is a very high-maintenance woman; she likes to live a high lifestyle, a high standard, and the money isn't coming in. We saw from their charity, they couldn't raise money at all last year."
Bower added a prediction of a looming financial crisis, emphasizing that downsizing and reassessment might be inevitable for the couple.
American stand-up comedian Jo Koy's mockery of the royal family, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle during the Golden Globes further added to the couple's woes, with speculations arising that they may be regretting their unsuccessful attempts to tarnish the royal family's reputation, finding themselves becoming the butt of jokes in live shows.
