Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Invited to Jamaica for Glitzy Film Premiere

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received an exclusive invitation to attend a glamorous film premiere in Jamaica.

Amidst controversy surrounding their visit to Jamaica during a health crisis within the royal family, reports suggest that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were personally invited by Hollywood executive Brian Robbins, the CEO of Paramount Pictures and a close friend of the couple.

At the premiere event in Kingston, Meghan and Harry were photographed alongside Brian Robbins and his wife Tracy James, as well as Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness.

According to a source, the couple from Montecito shares a personal friendship with the Robbins family, who extended the invitation. Speaking to the Daily Mail, the source revealed that Meghan and Harry have long admired Bob Marley's music and philosophy, expressing their delight at attending the film screening.

However, their decision to travel to Jamaica during a time when King Charles and the Princess of Wales are undergoing medical treatment has drawn criticism. Many royal commentators and supporters questioned why the parents of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet opted to attend the premiere of "Bob Marley: One Love" in the Caribbean instead of returning to the UK to stand by the royal family.
