Speculation abounds regarding whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle privately extended their support to the royals, but their decision to remain publicly silent has drawn scrutiny.
Royal commentator Lady Colin Campbell voiced apprehensions about the couple's reluctance to address the matter publicly, particularly as they chose to attend the premiere of the Bob Marley: One Love biopic in Kingston, Jamaica, on Tuesday.
“They could have easily made a public statement," she remarked to GB News. "But they seem content to exploit situations without making any public declarations. It raises significant questions."
Echoing these sentiments, commentator Phil Dampier expressed concern that Harry and Meghan's failure to make a public statement might tarnish their public image.
"If they had publicly expressed their concerns, there would likely be sympathy for them. Private contact could have been made. It’s evident they have worries," he commented.
"Their lack of public response contrasts starkly with their apparent enjoyment, potentially flying to the premiere via private jet. It appears they are reveling while genuine concerns linger within the Royal Family."
