The royal family raised apprehension when official statements about the health conditions of the senior royals were released by the Palace within a short span.
According to a statement from Kensington Palace shared on the Waleses’ social media, Princess Catherine underwent a "successful" planned surgery and is currently in the hospital. Meanwhile, the 75-year-old monarch is awaiting treatment for his enlarged prostate.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, speaking to The Sun, suggested that Prince Harry should approach the ailing royals discreetly and without drawing attention.
Acknowledging the existing deep rift within the royal family, Fitzwilliams commented, "Given the sensitivities involved, it is hoped some approach would be made by Harry but the best thing, and the only thing, would be a quiet or private approach. So basically we don't hear.”
Fitzwilliams highlighted the delicate situation, emphasizing the need for a cautious and private approach due to the strained relationship between the Sussexes and the royal family. "The royal family don't trust the Sussexes. There might be some way to bridge the awful rift using these unfortunate circumstances," he added.
