Prince William found himself at the center of playful banter during a show with his wife, Kate Middleton, when he disclosed his preferred emoji, leading one of the hosts to playfully accuse him of having a 'dirty mind.'

The amusing incident occurred during a radio appearance on BBC Radio 1's Going Home show. Host Vick Hope queried William about his most-used emoji, prompting a cautious response from the future king, who inquired, 'Is this a clean thing? Is it a family one?'

In response to Princess Kate's jest about it depending on the WhatsApp group, William unveiled that his initial choice, the aubergine emoji, was vetoed, leading him to pick another. He then confessed, 'It would have been the aubergine, but I'm saying now because I've got to be a little grown up that it's the one with the eyes [that] go up and down, and the mouth.'

The hosts expressed surprise and delight at William's response, with one remarking, 'He said the aubergine emoji, this is brilliant.' Co-host Vick jokingly left the heir to the throne red-faced with the quip, 'He knows. He’s got a dirty mind.'

In contrast, Princess Kate made a less risqué choice, revealing that her favorite emoji is "the heart with the crying emoji." She explained it as the kind used for 'hysterical laughing' when things have gone wrong.
