As King Charles faces health challenges, Prince Harry remains distant in the US
Paul Burrell, former butler of Princess Diana, believes that the late mother of Prince William and Prince Harry would disapprove of her younger son's actions.
In an interview with the Daily Express on behalf of Slingo, Burrell criticized the Duke of Sussex for his absence during the royal family's current health crises.
For those unaware, both Kate Middleton and King Charles are currently hospitalized for surgeries; the Princess of Wales underwent abdominal surgery, while the King received treatment for an enlarged prostate.
Burrell expressed disappointment that Prince William, tasked with overseeing palace affairs, cannot count on his estranged brother for support during these challenging times.
"[Harry and Meghan] had the opportunity to step up and fulfill those roles, but they chose not to. With William in need now, Harry's absence is glaring," Burrell stated.
"It's deeply saddening, and Diana would be deeply disappointed that Harry hasn't offered his brother assistance when he needs it most.
"It's regrettable, but it seems unlikely to change," the butler concluded.
