Princess Kate and Prince William's Response to Prince Harry's Memoir Unveiled

Prince William and Kate Middleton took a strategic approach to Prince Harry's memoir, "Spare," which extensively criticized them when released last year. Instead of delving into the details themselves, the royal couple opted to receive "key points" from their aides.

The Duke of Sussex didn't hold back in accusing the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with the broader royal family, in his autobiography released in January of the previous year.

An excerpt from Robert Hardman's upcoming book on King Charles III discloses that the future King and Queen of England chose not to open a book that had caused considerable distress.

Explaining the royal couple's stance, the author writes, "Naturally, the world wanted to hear Prince William's thoughts on Spare." He quotes a senior aide, saying, "His staff remain adamant that he and the Princess refused to open a book which has caused so much pain," adding, "neither of them read it."

The aide emphasized, "He is a grown-up 40-year-old with the BBC app on his phone so he knows what it says. But he has people like me to tell him what else he needs to know. We gave him the key points."

In Harry's memoir, he delves into instances of strained relations with his elder brother and sheds light on King Charles' apparent favoritism between the heir and the spare.
