Queen Camilla appears ‘at ease’ after hospital visit to King Charles

Charles reported to be in good spirits post-surgery

Queen Camilla wore a serene smile as she left King Charles’s side after her visit on the second day of his hospitalization following a successful prostate surgery on Friday.

Donning a white blouse and a forest green vest, the composed 76-year-old Queen seemed content as she departed from the private hospital in the heart of the capital, gracing onlookers with her presence from the Audi.

Charles, aged 75, was reported to be in good spirits after the surgery. Despite deferring his engagements, he reportedly tackled paperwork from his hospital bed.

Standing steadfastly by her husband, the Queen had earlier accompanied him for the procedure around 9 am on Friday, arriving together from Clarence House in a modest convoy without police escorts.

Around 3 pm, Camilla offered a reassuring update to royal admirers and journalists, stating, 'he's doing well, thank you,' as she exited the clinic.

The duration of Charles' hospital stay remains unconfirmed, though there is optimism that he may be discharged by the weekend's conclusion.

Prior to his treatment for the benign condition, Charles visited his daughter-in-law, the Princess of Wales, who has spent 12 days at the same hospital recovering from abdominal surgery.
