Queen Camilla Takes a Savvy Approach to Silence Critics

In a strategic move, Queen Camilla, wife of King Charles III, is poised to turn the tables on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to an expert's analysis.

Camilla, 76, has reportedly found a way to "get her own back" on the Sussexes with the launch of her new project, "The Reading Room" podcast, just months after Harry and Meghan's departure from Spotify.

Despite being labeled a "villain" and "dangerous" in Harry's memoir, Camilla has maintained a dignified silence regarding these accusations. Denise Palmer Davies, brand expert and director of Borne Media, sees the podcast as a powerful response, stating, "After all the hurtful things Harry has said about Camilla, she has finally got her own back on them."

Palmer anticipates that if the podcast succeeds in an area the Sussexes aimed to conquer, it would be the "perfect revenge." She suggests that Meghan, in particular, might be displeased and possibly embarrassed by the turn of events.

Camilla's podcast, featuring avid readers and writers like Dame Joanna Lumley, Ian Rankin, David Baddiel, and Elif Shafak, is set to debut its first episode on January 8.

Royal expert Jennie Bond emphasizes Camilla's genuine passion for reading, dating back to her childhood. She dismisses any financial motive for the podcast and argues that revenge against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is unlikely to be Camilla's intention.

Bond states, "It wouldn’t have been any part of Camilla’s decision to launch this podcast; she is better than that. I very much doubt that she gives Meghan much thought—she is far too busy making a resounding success of her new role."
