He shared that they caught up a couple of months ago when Meghan received an award in New York, coinciding with the reported 'car chase' incident.
Expressing his support for Meghan and Prince Harry, Pierce described the meeting as "great" and emphasized his role as a friend, irrespective of the geographical distance. He stated, "I love her," highlighting the importance of friends being there for each other, especially in the unique circumstances the Sussexes find themselves in.
As Harry and Meghan navigate persistent criticism post their departure from the Royal family in 2020, including recent jibes at the Golden Globes 2024, Pierce addressed the negativity. The 60-year-old actor remarked that, despite the external commentary, Meghan has Harry and their beautiful children, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2. He underscored the significance of family amidst the surrounding noise, stating, "That’s the most important thing. So, all the other … everything else is just … outside of that means nothing, you know?"
