Currently residing in Adelaide Cottage, the Prince and Princess of Wales have set their sights on the 30-bedroom mansion previously occupied by the disgraced royal. Sources revealed to Express.co.uk that William and Kate would fully support King Charles in any decision to distance Andrew from royal engagements and evict him from the property.
"It’s no secret that William and Kate have been trying to secure Royal Lodge for their family. They are in desperate need of a larger property to accommodate their household," stated the insider. "The wheels finally seem to be in motion to remove Andrew from the property, which William and Kate welcome and support wholeheartedly."
Despite Andrew's resistance to eviction and his preference for Frogmore Cottage, the former residence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the King has yet to take a definitive step. Andrew contends that Frogmore is "too small" for his stature despite the perceived downgrade.
While calls for a firm stance against Prince Andrew persist, King Charles has not initiated any action, leaving the royal family in a state of anticipation and uncertainty.
