Cole anticipates that the King will personally respond to the approximately 7,000 messages of support he received after his cancer diagnosis, provided they included a return address.
In an interview with GB News, Cole praised Buckingham Palace's revamped public relations efforts under new management, highlighting increased transparency and openness regarding the monarch's health.
"I'm sure he will have some assistance in handling the correspondence. The King has expressed being deeply moved by the overwhelming show of concern. It seems he's come to recognize the depth of public affection for him," Cole remarked.
He further noted, "Perhaps he's realized that people genuinely admire him. He's shown remarkable character and commitment to his duties. His inaugural year as King was commendable."
