After spending two weeks in the hospital and returning home to her husband, Prince William, and their three children, Kate Middleton has expressed her gratitude to well-wishers in her inaugural statement.
The Duke and Duchess of Wales conveyed their appreciation for the overwhelming support received from fans worldwide as Kate continues her recovery at home, following a 13-day hospitalization.
In response to the global outpouring of good wishes, William and Kate stated: “The Wales family remains deeply appreciative of the heartfelt well wishes extended from all corners of the globe."
Kate, now settling back into her Windsor residence, extended special acknowledgment to the dedicated nursing staff at the London Clinic, where she underwent abdominal surgery on January 16.
Prince William, mindful of his familial responsibilities, has already scaled back on his royal engagements to provide support to his wife and children during this time.
