King Charles' Cancer Diagnosis Sparks Speculation of Prince Harry's Return to Royal Duties

Rumors are swirling that Prince Harry may be considering a return to royal duties following his father King Charles' cancer diagnosis.

With King Charles undergoing treatment and the Princess of Wales recovering from abdominal surgery, the royal family is facing a shortage of senior members to fulfill their public engagements.

Many are wondering if Prince Harry, currently residing in the US, will step up to support his family during this challenging time.

However, Prince Harry addressed this question approximately a year ago during an interview with Good Morning America, where he expressed doubts about the possibility of returning to royal life.

"No, I don't think it is ever going to be possible," stated Meghan Markle's husband bluntly. He also cited external factors that would prevent his return, making it "unsurvivable."

Despite earlier reports suggesting Harry's willingness to temporarily fill in while his father receives treatment, Buckingham Palace has refuted these claims. According to palace sources, there is no provision for such an arrangement, especially considering the "clear" agreement reached when the Sussexes stepped back from their royal duties in 2020.

"It's quite clear, the terms were set, and the King's illness doesn't change that," a source told Telegraph.

Currently, Prince Harry and Meghan reside in California with their two children, having announced their departure from royal duties in March 2020.
