King Charles III, aged 75, has received a diagnosis of cancer, as per a statement released by Buckingham Palace on Monday.
The statement conveyed that during a recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate concern was identified, leading to subsequent diagnostic tests revealing a form of cancer. However, the palace did not specify the type or stage of cancer detected.
This announcement follows a week after both King Charles and Kate were discharged from a private London clinic following separate procedures. While the king underwent a corrective procedure for an enlarged prostate, Kate, aged 42, underwent an unspecified abdominal surgery on January 17.

The statement further indicated that King Charles has commenced a schedule of regular treatments. As per medical advice, he has been advised to postpone public-facing duties during this time.
The revelation of King Charles' health condition underscores the ongoing health challenges faced by the royal family and the need for privacy and medical attention during such circumstances.
