Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly 'decoupling' to pursue distinct paths after a transformative 2023.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex rebranded their Archewell website as Sussex.com and officially designated the royal title as a surname for their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
In a notable move, Meghan announced her collaboration with the female-led company Lemonada for the relaunch of her podcast, following its discontinuation by Spotify last summer.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry remains deeply involved in his charitable endeavors, including The Invictus Games, and garnered attention for his solo interview on Good Morning America.
Royal author Daniela Elser commented in News.com.au, "The past week witnessed significant announcements from both Harry and Meghan, with new business deals and a high-profile television interview. However, what sets these latest developments apart is that each involves only one half of the formerly inseparable professional duo."
Elser emphasized, "Mark the time, note the date. Harry and Meghan Inc. is officially dissolved."
The only remaining joint project for the Sussexes is their multi-million-dollar deal with Netflix, which Elser argued, "Remove [it] from the equation, and the duke and duchess embark on entirely separate trajectories."
"It appears that two individuals have abandoned attempts to market themselves as a unified entity to corporate entities and the world and have now gone their separate ways," Elser observed.
Conclusively, Elser stated, "The partnership will not be revived."
