According to Express.co.uk, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams suggested that Meghan's expected comeback to the popular legal drama's spin-off could represent a "regressive move."
Fitzwilliams also cast doubt on Meghan's ability to achieve Hollywood stardom, asserting that there is "no evidence to suggest she can transition into a Hollywood star."
He highlighted the potential impact of Meghan's endeavors on Prince Harry's charitable initiatives and other significant undertakings.
"Invictus, Sentebale in Lesotho, and Wellchild were all causes he [Harry] supported before his marriage. So, if she participates in Suits, it could be seen as aligning with his previous involvements," Fitzwilliams remarked.
These concerns emerged following reports indicating that Meghan secured one of the "most significant TV deals of the year."
According to the same publication, a senior production source disclosed Meghan's impending directorial debut in the entertainment industry.
The report suggested that Meghan will helm "at least one episode" of the acclaimed TV series spin-off.
