Meghan Markle's Absence from British Vogue Cover Explained

Meghan Markle's Absence from British Vogue Cover Explained

Meghan Markle's absence from British Vogue's iconic cover featuring 40 powerful women has sparked speculation about her declining popularity, according to PR expert Matt Yanofsky.

In a conversation with The Mirror, Yanofsky suggested that Markle's name may have been omitted from the list due to her waning fame compared to 2019. He noted the logistical challenges and significant achievement involved in booking numerous A-list women for Vogue UK's March 2024 edition.

Yanofsky also considered the possibility that the former Suits actress may not have been available during the cover shoot, speculating, "It's possible they chose not to deal with her to get the cover over the finish line. Or it's possible she just wasn't available."

Despite Markle's past amicable relationship with British Vogue's editor-in-chief, Edward Enninful, she was conspicuously absent from the magazine's high-profile cover. Notably, Markle's acquaintances, including Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, and Jameela Jamil, graced the cover alongside other influential women such as Naomi Campbell, Victoria Beckham, and Cindy Crawford.
