Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix Deal Faces Fresh Setback

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle encountered a setback in their Netflix deal while they were in the process of finalizing arrangements.

Last summer, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex faced financial turmoil after their Spotify deal collapsed, impacting their lucrative agreement with Netflix.

As they worked to fulfill the remaining obligations of their contract, a significant blow struck their production company.

Bennett Levine, the manager at Archewell Productions and a key figure behind the couple's successful Netflix docuseries, "Harry & Meghan," announced his departure from the company after less than two years in his role.

Levine, who initially joined Archewell as a coordinator in 2021 before being promoted to manager in 2022, shared his decision to leave via social media, revealing his new position at Cinetic Media.

This development coincided with the unexpected appearance of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Jamaica to attend the premiere of a Bob Marley biopic.

Reports suggest that Paramount Pictures funded the Caribbean trip, with only a select few Jamaican officials aware of the visit.

Prior to the premiere, the royal couple enjoyed a luxurious stay at the five-star Half Moon resort in Montego Bay, where nightly rates for four-bedroom villas reach $4,300.

With the clock ticking on their promised projects for streaming, Harry and Meghan face pressure to deliver in order to receive the remainder of their payments from Netflix. Speculation abounds that their trip to Jamaica may have been more than a leisurely excursion.

There are suspicions that the couple may have used the opportunity to network with Paramount executives, potentially securing an alternative deal should their agreement with Netflix also falter.
