Prince Harry Faces Accusations of Fabrication in 'Spare' Memoir Amidst US Visa Turmoil

In his memoir 'Spare', Prince Harry candidly disclosed personal experiences, including instances of recreational drug use.

Prince Harry is embroiled in distressing legal challenges regarding his US visa following the release of his explosive memoir, 'Spare', in January of last year.

The Heritage Foundation is demanding a reassessment of the Duke of Sussex’s US visa application, citing Harry's admission of drug use in his memoir.

However, US Federal lawyers argue that the memoir does not constitute concrete evidence of Harry's drug use, suggesting the possibility that the duke fabricated details to enhance sales.

John Bardo, representing the Biden administration, informed the court, “The book isn’t sworn testimony or evidence.”

“Merely stating something in a book doesn’t necessarily validate its truth,” he emphasized. “Prince Harry is just one among many foreign nationals legally entering the US.”

In response, Samuel Dewey, representing the Heritage Foundation, asserted, “Spare serves as a valid admission, confirmed by the Duke himself.”

Within the memoir, the father of two recounted personal anecdotes involving recreational drug use, which now serve as the basis of the lawsuit against him.

The lawsuit aims to demonstrate that the “DHS is granting preferential treatment to high-profile celebrities, with Prince Harry being arguably the most prominent celebrity to reside in the United States,” according to Dewey.

The fate of Prince Harry’s US visa remains uncertain amidst these legal proceedings.
