Prince Harry Suffers Legal Setback Against Royal Family in US Court

Prince Harry faces a significant setback in a US court as his assertions in his memoir 'Spare' fail to substantiate in a legal battle against the royal family.

During a hearing at the E Barrett Prettyman Courthouse on Friday, John Bardo, representing the DHS, emphasized that "the book isn’t sworn testimony or proof" regarding the Duke of Sussex's alleged drug use. Bardo stated, "Something in a book doesn’t necessarily make it true."

The DC court commenced proceedings to determine whether to compel the US government to disclose Prince Harry’s visa application.

The Duke of Sussex ignited controversy by admitting to using cocaine, marijuana, and psychedelic mushrooms in his autobiography. Critics argue that his past drug use should have rendered him ineligible to enter the United States under federal law, asserting that releasing his application is of "immense public interest."

Nile Gardiner, director of the Heritage Foundation’s Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom, dismissed suggestions that Prince Harry fabricated his drug use as "ridiculous."

In 'Spare', Prince Harry made sensational claims and accusations against the royal family, particularly targeting King Charles, Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate.

Regarding King Charles and Camilla, Harry alleged that Charles failed to offer him support after Princess Diana's death and accused Camilla of leaking stories to the media to enhance her image. He also criticized Camilla's role as a step-parent and described her as "dangerous" and a "villain."

In another revelation, Harry claimed a physical altercation with Prince William over comments made about Meghan. He also accused William and Kate of mocking him for wearing a Nazi uniform to a fancy dress party.

Additionally, Prince Harry disclosed personal details such as losing his virginity at 17 and making unverified claims about his military service.

Prince Harry's legal battles and revelations from 'Spare' underscore the ongoing tensions within the royal family.
