Prince William breaks his silence on Kate Middleton's recovery during the 2024 BAFTA Awards.
Amid his wife's recuperation from 'planned abdominal surgery' on January 16, the Prince of Wales graced the prestigious award ceremony on February 18.
According to GB News, William candidly addressed his wife's absence from the star-studded event during a conversation with Elaine Bedel, the chief executive of the Southbank Centre.
"I’m sorry Catherine’s not here. She does love the Baftas," expressed the father-of-two.
William revealed that he hadn't been able to watch the nominated films due to Kate's ongoing recovery.
"I’ve watched the fewest I’ve ever watched before, with my wife's situation. Hopefully, we’ll catch up. I’ll make my list tonight," he shared.
"All the ones I watch, she watches with me. So we go through it carefully," he added.
Notably, the royal couple made a glamorous debut as the Prince and Princess of Wales at the British Awards ceremony in 2023.
Catherine stunned in a white one-shoulder Alexander McQueen dress with long black gloves at last year's BAFTAs, while William opted for a double-breasted velvet blazer atop a white shirt and a bow tie, paired with black pants.
