Prince William is poised to make his first public appearance since the onset of the royal family's health crisis today.
In this engagement, Prince William will publicly acknowledge his father King Charles' recent cancer diagnosis and express gratitude for the overwhelming support and well-wishes received.
The Prince of Wales is scheduled for his inaugural public engagement since his wife Kate Middleton underwent surgery and following the announcement of King Charles' illness on February 7.
He will commence the day with an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, representing his father, where he will confer over 50 honors, including to former England women’s football player Ellen White, 34.
Later in the evening, as patron of the London Air Ambulance, the future king will attend a fundraising gala in central London.
This significant engagement will be his first since the Princess of Wales underwent a 'planned' abdominal surgery at the London Clinic on January 17.
After spending a fortnight in the hospital, she was discharged and relocated to their Windsor estate. Prince William intends to remain by his wife's side until her full recovery, prioritizing his family duties over public appearances and royal obligations.
According to a source cited by the Daily Mail, "The Prince has always made clear that his priority is to support his wife and family for the time being – and he did not put a timescale on that. He will make a return to duties on Wednesday but you should not expect to see him again for a bit after that."
