Reporter Stands Firm on Kate Middleton 'Coma' Allegations Despite Palace Denial

Spanish journalist Concha Calleja remains resolute in her assertion regarding Princess Kate's purported induction into a "medically induced coma" following her abdominal surgery, despite Kensington Palace's dismissal of the claims.

In response to palace refutations, Calleja, as per an English translation of a screenshot from Spanish publication Casa de Borbon, reiterated her stance and defended her sourcing.

"I stand by my statement... This is what happens when sensitive topics are broached; it stirs discomfort. I have complete confidence in my source. They're merely upset because the truth has come to light," she asserted.

Princess Kate underwent abdominal surgery at The London Clinic last month and subsequently spent two weeks recuperating before returning to her residence in Windsor, where she remains on bed rest. Her return to royal duties is anticipated after Easter.

Calleja had initially cited insights from a purported "aide from the royal household," contending that Kate's life had been endangered by unforeseen postoperative complications that doctors had not anticipated, disclosing the information in a startling revelation last month.

A source affiliated with Kensington Palace vehemently rebuffed these assertions, denouncing them as "utter nonsense" and "completely fabricated."

"The journalist in question made no effort to corroborate her claims with anyone within the household," the source asserted firmly.

Despite palace pushback, Calleja maintains her stance, underscoring the importance of journalistic integrity and the duty to disseminate information responsibly.
