The bond between the Duchess of Sussex and the late Queen Elizabeth was characterized by 'genuine affection,' according to claims from a PR expert.
Meghan Markle, who married Prince Harry in 2018, reportedly shared a strong connection with the late Monarch during her time within the royal circle.
As cited by The Mirror, royal commentator Ms. Seward disclosed to Newsweek that Queen Elizabeth surprisingly held a favorable opinion of Meghan.
Expressing her astonishment, the royal expert remarked, "I was taken aback to learn that the Queen admired Meghan, but indeed she did. Meghan possesses intelligence, regardless of public opinion."
Furthermore, PR specialist Lynn Carratt, in discussion with The Mirror, emphasized that the Duchess of Sussex "received a warm reception from the Queen upon joining the Royal family."
Reflecting on Meghan's rapport with the late Queen, Carratt noted that the mother-of-two "held genuine affection for the Queen and frequently praised her warmth in interviews."
"I believe there existed a sincere fondness between them; it's regrettable that the Queen had to navigate the Mexgit turmoil during her final months as monarch," Lynn added.
For those unfamiliar, Meghan and Harry relinquished their senior royal roles in 2020, sparking considerable public attention and discussions about their departure from traditional royal duties.
