Amidst a challenging period marked by intense mental distress, Kate Middleton has opted to share her health updates solely with her inner circle of close friends.
The Princess of Wales, currently recuperating at her Windsor residence following an undisclosed abdominal surgery, has maintained a low profile and chosen to remain secluded from public view.
Insiders revealed to Us Weekly that the mother of three has begun confiding about her recent surgery exclusively to her trusted confidants.
Kinsey Schofield, host of the To Di For Daily podcast, elaborated on the situation to Fox News Digital, stating, "While my palace connections have been in touch with the princess, physical visits have been restricted due to her being officially off-duty to focus on recovery from significant abdominal surgery."
She further explained, "In a similar vein to any of us taking sick leave, it's not customary for employees to visit our homes during recuperation. Face-to-face interactions are deemed unnecessary for current communications. There exists a well-defined hierarchy within the palace, where top-tier individuals are privy to pertinent details and communicate as required."
Emphasizing the couple's commitment to privacy, Schofield added, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have always prioritized their privacy. Their primary focus now is ensuring Catherine's swift recovery, aiming for her return post-Easter. William and Kate firmly believe that they have no need to justify their choices; Catherine's health remains paramount."
Schofield also noted that the Duchess has been shielded and supported by her Windsor neighbors during this challenging period.
The royal's health status became a topic of widespread speculation following the palace's release of a Mother's Day photo featuring the princess alongside her three children.
Addressing concerns raised by media outlets, Middleton took to social media on Monday to issue an apology after the photo was withdrawn by news agencies due to suspected alterations.
