A recent report from The Sunday Times suggests that Kate, 42, is expected to resume her official engagements after her children with Prince William—Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5—return to school following the Easter holidays, which conclude on April 17. Sources indicate that Kate has been maintaining her typical household routine during her recovery, even taking on the task of preparing family dinners.
In January, Kensington Palace disclosed that Kate underwent planned abdominal surgery and would require several weeks of rest and recuperation. A palace statement shared on social media confirmed, "The surgery was successful, and Kate is expected to remain in the hospital for ten to fourteen days before continuing her recovery at home. Over the weekend, Kate was spotted near her Adelaide Cottage residence in Windsor, looking "happy, relaxed, and healthy," according to eyewitnesses cited by The Sun. The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William were seen visiting a local farm shop, dispelling recent rumors about Kate's health.
