Kate Middleton's Photographer Responds to Backlash Over Alleged 'Fake Image'

Kate Middleton's Photographer Responds to Backlash Over Alleged 'Fake Image'

The photographer responsible for capturing the latest snapshot of Princess Kate has broken his silence in the face of criticism, vehemently denying claims that the photo is manipulated.

Jim Bennett, the photographer behind Kate's recent snapshot, spoke out following the controversy, refuting any suggestions of photo alteration. He asserted, "We don’t change our photos in Photoshop other than adjusting the light levels if necessary."

"The cars left Windsor Castle, and I photographed them a short distance away on Datchet High Street — outside No. 39, to be precise! Car shots are unpredictable at the best of times, and with some reflection on the glass, it can be difficult," Bennett explained to the New York Post.

The viral photo captured Kate riding alongside William in a black car as they departed Windsor Castle on Monday following Kate's public statement.

In the image, Kate is seated in the back seat, gazing out of the window, while William is depicted looking ahead.

Though the exact destination of Kate's journey remains undisclosed, reports suggest she was attending a "private appointment" in central London, following a similar route as the Commonwealth service attended by William.

Bennett clarified that he and another photographer were commissioned by a news outlet to capture a shot of the Prince of Wales en route to London.

"It wasn’t until I checked on the back of the camera to make sure I had a frame of Prince William that I realized there was someone sitting next to him. It turned out to be Catherine!" Bennett revealed, dispelling allegations that Kate was digitally inserted into the photo, supposedly released by the royal family.
