Reports suggest Gary Goldsmith will join 'Celebrity Big Brother'
Former glamour model Katie Price has voiced disapproval regarding Princess Kate's uncle, Gary Goldsmith, potentially appearing on the popular TV show.
During her podcast, The Katie Price Show, Katie and her sister Sophie discussed the rumored contestants, as reported by the Mirror. Sophie mentioned, "Kate Middleton's uncle [is doing it]," prompting Katie's discontent. She questioned, "Why the f*** is he in it? Who is he?"
Gary is purportedly set to enter the Big Brother house alongside notable figures like X Factor icons Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, as well as Colson Smith, Levi Roots, and others.
When Sophie mentioned another contestant, Lauren Simon from the Real Housewives of Cheshire, Katie expressed frustration, remarking, "Right. Anyone can be a celebrity these days."
According to a TV insider cited by The Sun, "The CBB team love him because of his link to Kate and the fact that he’s confident and loud and won’t hold back, he’s made it clear he will talk about everything and anything, and he’s pretty outspoken when it comes to Harry and Meghan."
The source continued, stating, "Gary also holds a deep affection for Kate and Wills and will be able to give a fascinating insight into what it's really like being related to the future King and Queen. He could be TV gold and ITV knows it. The deal he signed is for good money."
