King Charles III Provides Health Update During Buckingham Palace Audience

After his absence from the Royal Maundy Service due to ongoing cancer treatment, King Charles III returned to his royal responsibilities on Thursday, hosting audiences at Buckingham Palace.

The 75-year-old monarch, recuperating from cancer treatment, was represented at Thursday's Royal Maundy Service by Queen Camilla. Later, he was photographed individually greeting Ambassador Epimeni Bapfinda of Burundi and Ambassador Ruslan Bolbocean of Moldova.

During these meetings, both dignitaries presented King Charles III with the Letters of Recall of their predecessors and their own Letters of Credence.

Despite his health challenges, the King continues to exemplify unwavering commitment to his duties and service to others, setting a commendable precedent for dedication amid personal adversity.

Publicly diagnosed with cancer on February 5, King Charles III has been diligently attending to state affairs and official correspondence while undergoing treatment. However, he has chosen to limit his public engagements during this period to focus on his health and recovery.
