Royal commentator Lee Cohen has launched a scathing attack on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, questioning their talent and branding them as "grifters" in light of their lucrative partnership with streaming giant Netflix.
In an interview with GBN America, Cohen did not mince words, stating, "Netflix seems unwilling to admit that they've essentially backed talentless grifters in Harry and Meghan. At the end of the day, Netflix is primarily concerned with the Sussexes' ability to draw viewership. Regrettably, the couple seems to command attention much like a train wreck - it's painful to witness, yet viewers find it difficult to look away."
Cohen further speculated about the future of the Sussexes' collaboration with Netflix, suggesting that more projects with the streaming platform are likely in the pipeline. "Given the trajectory we're observing with these two, I anticipate further collaborations with Netflix and other ventures," he added.
In contrast to Cohen's critical assessment, Ted Sandros, the co-chief of Netflix, offered a more positive perspective on the couple's association with the streaming service. Sandros revealed that the documentary featuring Meghan and Harry remains one of Netflix's most-watched documentaries to date. He emphasized its significant popularity, particularly in the UK, where the public has shown a voracious appetite for content related to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The contrasting views from Cohen and Sandros highlight the divisive opinions surrounding Meghan and Harry's high-profile partnership with Netflix, further fueling the ongoing debate about the couple's post-royal endeavors and public perception.
