The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have found themselves at the center of a photo editing controversy, drawing comparisons to a recent scandal involving Kate Middleton.
Reports have surfaced alleging that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry edited one of their "memorable photos," specifically the picture announcing Princess Lilibet's pregnancy, in the wake of the Kate Middleton photo scandal.
According to Express.co.uk, Misan Harriman, a close friend and photographer to the Sussexes, disclosed during an interview on BBC Radio 3's Private Passions podcast that the couple's pregnancy announcement image was indeed edited.
When questioned about the setting of the photograph, Harriman admitted, "Hmm, yeah. It really was a particularly joyous image to celebrate life itself."
He further acknowledged, "It's amazing what you can do with technology."
The revelation sparked controversy, with royal expert Angela Levin accusing Harry and Meghan's supporters of hypocrisy for criticizing Catherine over photo editing while defending the Sussexes.
In a statement to The Sun, Levin remarked, "A tree was doctored in their photograph to create a special backdrop, so how dare their camp say anything about Catherine's?"
