Meghan Markle is reportedly apprehensive about her anticipated return to British shores alongside her husband, Prince Harry.
While not officially confirmed, speculation is rife that the Duchess of Sussex will join Prince Harry for the 10th-anniversary commemoration of the Invictus Games at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London this coming May.
A leaked itinerary obtained by the Daily Express lists her as an invitee alongside the Duke, but her attendance remains marked as "TBC" (to be confirmed).
Insiders suggest that the former actress harbors reservations about revisiting Harry's homeland, citing a strained relationship with segments of the British populace who may not be welcoming.
"She is feeling quite apprehensive about going back to England," a source disclosed.
The source elaborated: "Harry and Meghan are eager to repair their fractured ties with the royal family. However, they recognize that the timing might be inappropriate, especially in the wake of Kate's recent cancer diagnosis."
"They [the Sussexes] are prepared to bide their time, waiting for the right moment to initiate reconciliation and rebuild trust."

If Meghan Markle chooses to venture into the UK once more, it will signify her first return since attending the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II in September.
