Meghan Markle's recent launch of her luxury brand, American Riviera Orchard, has reportedly stirred unease within the Palace walls.

The Duchess of Sussex's new venture, which had a 'soft launch' in recent weeks, aims to offer a diverse range of products, from cosmetics and yoga mats to dog food. Despite the potential financial success of this enterprise, it appears to have garnered a lukewarm reception at the Palace.

In an exclusive interview with the Mirror, royal expert and author Tom Quinn shed light on the Palace's reservations about Meghan's entrepreneurial pursuits. Quinn stated, "Meghan, like many Americans, may fail to grasp why the Palace views profiting from royal connections as inappropriate. The Palace perceives such commercial endeavors as distasteful, particularly Meghan's plans to market kitchen and cookery items."

Highlighting the timing of Meghan's brand launch, which coincides with King Charles's cancer treatment and a recent health update from the Princess of Wales, Quinn remarked, "While the unveiling of American Riviera Orchard wasn't entirely unexpected, some are surprised it didn't happen sooner."

Since its debut earlier this month, Meghan's brand has already amassed over 570,000 followers. Although early projections hint at the potential for six-figure sales in the brand's initial weeks, specific product release dates remain undisclosed.
