Piers Morgan has stirred the pot with his comments on a widely-discussed video featuring Princess Kate, casting doubt on its authenticity.
The British journalist took to social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) on March 19 to share conflicting views about Catherine's first public appearance following her abdominal surgery.
Initially, Morgan expressed relief at seeing Kate in good spirits alongside Prince William during their visit to a Windsor farm shop. "It's heartening to see Catherine enjoying a light moment with William," he tweeted, referencing a clip from @TheSun.
However, shortly after his initial post, Morgan backtracked, echoing the skepticism voiced by some fans who questioned whether the woman in the video was indeed Kate Middleton.
"UPDATE: Despite confirmation, there's a prevailing sentiment of disbelief among some followers," Morgan tweeted, hinting at the persistence of conspiracy theories surrounding Kate's appearance.
Responding to a comment from a royal expert, one Twitter user wrote, "That doesn't look like Kate... think twice, Piers."
Another chimed in with, "It's all rather perplexing. A straightforward video from Kate acknowledging the concern and confirming her well-being would put an end to this speculation. The silence is puzzling."
