Former Royal Aide Bestows New Nicknames on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Amidst Royal Discord
Amid their ongoing rift with Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been granted new titles by a former royal aide.
Paul Burrell, Princess Diana's former butler, who served Harry and William's mother for 11 years, including as a footman to the late Queen Elizabeth, has bestowed rather pointed nicknames upon the Sussexes. In response to their actions in the United States, Burrell has dubbed them "Ginge and Whinge."
Speaking with GB News, Burrell expressed his frustration with the couple's decisions, stating, "I believe the British public are weary of 'Ginge and Whinge' and would prefer if they remained in America to spare further controversy in Britain."
Burrell's remarks came amid discussions regarding Harry's legal battles and his announcement to appeal the verdict against the UK Home Office. He criticized Harry for what he perceived as an inflated ego and challenged the Duke's assertions regarding security decisions, emphasizing Harry's voluntary departure from royal duties.
"It's misguided for Harry to expect the British taxpayer to fund security for an American celebrity visiting Britain," Burrell remarked. "He chose to leave the Royal Family; it was his decision."
