Prince Harry, Meghan Markle 'Blocked' from Bringing Archie, Lilibet to UK

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle intended to accompany Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to a royal event in the UK but faced impediments.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, parents to Prince Archie, aged 4, and Princess Lilibet, aged 2, had initially planned to include their children in their trip to the UK in September 2022. However, they encountered obstacles preventing them from doing so.

The Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (RAVEC), in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police and the Home Office, advised the Sussexes against bringing their children while attending the Well Child Awards in London.

Following Queen Elizabeth's passing, Harry and Meghan postponed their return home and remained in the UK until the State funeral.

According to documents obtained by The Mirror, the Home Office was informed on August 3, 2022, about the Sussexes' planned visit to the United Kingdom from September 2 to September 11, 2022.

In response to RAVEC's concerns, Harry and Meghan concluded that it was unsafe to bring their children. Their team communicated that the proposed security arrangements for the September visit were deemed unlawful and inadequate.

Prince Harry had advocated for the right to fund security for himself and his family during their visits to the UK. However, he lost the legal battle against the Home Office.
