Prince William, the husband of Princess Kate Middleton, made a heartwarming visit to a Welsh school on St. David's Day.
The Prince of Wales was warmly welcomed by students at Ysgol yr Holl Saint – All Saints’ School in Wrexham as he celebrated the Welsh holiday on Friday, March 1. Meanwhile, Princess Kate rested at home, recuperating from abdominal surgery.
During his visit, Prince William was presented with three stuffed animals, symbolizing each of his children with Kate: Prince George, aged 10, Princess Charlotte, aged 8, and Prince Louis, aged 5.
"Thank you very much," Prince William expressed his gratitude to the students as he received the thoughtful gifts. "That's really kind, thank you very much."
According to Us Weekly, Prince William even engaged with the children, asking if they had any good names in mind for the toys. One child suggested, "I thought of one. James, Charlotte, and Mason."
The students named the animals after themselves, adding a personal touch to the gesture.
In addition to the stuffed animals, another child presented Prince William with a large bouquet, presumably intended for Princess Kate, who has not made a public appearance since Christmas Day last year.
"I'll pass those on to Catherine as well," Prince William assured the students, expressing his appreciation for their affection. "You all seem very happy, very smart."
The visit highlighted the warm relationship between the royal family and the Welsh community, showcasing moments of shared joy and kindness.
