Queen Camilla Stands Against Attacks on Kate Middleton

In a notable statement following the recent "attacks" against Kate Middleton, Queen Camilla hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace to commemorate International Women’s Day, where she emphatically called for an end to the mistreatment of women.

Teaming up with Queen Mathilde of Belgium for the event, the 76-year-old monarch appeared to defend her daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, against the onslaught of social media criticism in her poignant address.

Kate Middleton has faced a relentless social media campaign since acknowledging her involvement in editing a photo of herself and her children earlier this week.

As President of the Women of the World (WOW) foundation, Camilla delivered a speech laden with significance, emphasizing the hope for women's empowerment and gender equality in the future.

Reflecting on an incident from history, Camilla recounted the throwing of stones at Buckingham Palace during a suffragette protest in May 1914, now displayed within the palace.

"I believe they symbolized hope for the women who threw them – hope that they wouldn't be confined by their past or by societal and economic barriers to gender equality," Camilla remarked, holding up the stones. "Above all, they represented the belief that change was possible."

"Today, 110 years later, you are welcomed into Buckingham Palace because you too embody hope for women in the present and the future," she added.

During the reception, Queen Camilla was presented with a Barbie doll resembling her, dressed in an elegant replica of her attire – a striking blue dress paired with a coat.

"Thank you very, very much indeed. It's fantastic," responded Queen Camilla. "You've managed to shave about 50 years off my age."

She quipped, "We should all have a Barbie!"
