Prince Harry reportedly contemplates a journey to the UK to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his charity, the Invictus Games. His desire includes the presence of his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, allowing King Charles, battling cancer, a chance to meet his grandchildren.
However, Meghan Markle hesitates to accompany her husband to his homeland. Royal expert Jennie Bond warns against expecting a warm reception if they choose to visit.
"I envision Meghan returning for a family visit, as it's natural for Harry and Meghan to introduce the children to their heritage and the grandfather they've scarcely met," Bond remarked to OK! Magazine.
Bond disclosed that Prince William and Kate Middleton may not eagerly anticipate meeting their niece and nephew due to prevailing trust issues between the Sussexes and the Waleses.
"[Harry and Meghan] may find themselves limited to meetings with Charles – and perhaps Eugenie and Beatrice," explained the former BBC royal correspondent.
Bond emphasized the family's deliberation on the implications of reconnecting with Harry and Meghan, questioning trust and loyalty to William and Catherine.
