Dara Huang, Mother of Princess Beatrice's Stepson, Opens Up About Royal Relationship

Dara Huang, the mother of Princess Beatrice's stepson Wolfie and former partner of Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, has addressed the relationship dynamics within the royal family and her own interactions with Princess Beatrice. Contrary to speculation about tensions, Huang has spoken positively about Beatrice's involvement in Wolfie's life.

The 41-year-old architect expressed gratitude towards Beatrice for the love and care she has shown towards Wolfie. "Wolfie has had two sets of parents trying to help him on both sides, and I just think, 'The more, the merrier'," Huang said. She further praised the royal family's inclusive approach, mentioning how smoothly they have embraced and supported Wolfie.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar, Huang emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive perspective, especially in blended families. "It's all about your point of view," she remarked. She also debunked the notion of using children as leverage post-divorce, advocating instead for a harmonious and happy home environment.

Between 2015 and 2018, Huang was in a relationship with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, with whom she shares her seven-year-old son, Wolfie. Despite their past, Huang highlighted the benefits of Wolfie having "two sets of parents trying to help him," dismissing any rumors of animosity between her and the royal family.

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Princess Beatrice welcomed their own child, Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, in 2020. Princess Beatrice has previously referred to Wolfie as her "bonus child," while Sarah Ferguson affectionately considers him her grandson. Wolfie was notably present at the royal family's Christmas Day festivities in Sandringham in 2022, marking his introduction to the wider royal circle.
