GB News Royal reporter, Cameron Walker, commented that the Palace seems to have "lost the narrative" regarding Princess Kate's health and needs to adapt to the evolving media landscape, much like Buckingham Palace did with the advent of television and radio.
During an appearance on Breakfast, Walker stated, "Social media has become a significant challenge for them. The royal editor of the Daily Telegraph recently mentioned that Kensington Palace seems to have lost control over the narrative concerning Princess Kate, largely due to social media influence."
He continued, "I believe there are ongoing discussions behind closed doors about how to navigate this modern era effectively."
The security breach at The London Clinic came to light after reports emerged that staff members had attempted to access Princess Kate's medical records following her abdominal surgery in January. An investigation into the matter has been initiated at the hospital, with at least one staff member reportedly caught in the act of trying to access the 42-year-old Princess's confidential medical notes.
